As a new client at Stride Pilates, we recommend starting with our Stride Basics group class. It’s the perfect way to get familiar with the Pilates principles while building your strength. If you prefer 1-on-1 sessions, try a single private class as a trial. If you enjoy the experience, you’re welcome to continue with more personalized sessions. We’re excited to be part of your Pilates journey.
With any form of exercise, consistency is key. The optimal recommendation is 2-3 times a week. However, once a week on a very regular basis can also be beneficial combined with other exercise. It is also easy to practice the matwork at home!
Every client must wear a pair of socks during all classes at Stride Pilates. You are free to bring your own socks, and Stride Pilates grip socks are also available to purchase in the studio. We recommend you wear comfortable workout clothes. No clothing with zippers or studs that may catch on our upholstery. Please take off your jewelry and tie up your long hair to avoid accidents. You may also like to bring a water bottle and a towel.
The minimum age to attend Stride pilates group classes is 18 years old and for private/clinicals is 12 years old.
The simplest way to manage your bookings is through Stride Pilates Website after creating an account.
We do not offer memberships here at Stride Pilates which means no lock-in contracts! You will only pay for the classes you attend and won’t have to worry about membership fees. We offer a variety of packages as options.
Classes are only valid at the location where they are purchased.
Stride Pilates has a 12-hour cancellation policy.
This means that if you cancel a pre-booked class prior to 12 hours before the class start time, the class is returned to your package. No shows or cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time will result in the forfeit of that class.
Pregnant clients can attend group classes up until week 14 of pregnancy. From 14 weeks onwards, you would need to attend Pre & Post Natal sessions as our regular group classes are no longer suitable.
Pre & Post Natal sessions are offered as Private/Clinical. These classes are specifically programmed for women to attend throughout their entire pregnancy. Please contact us to inquire.
Of course, the more the merrier! As all classes have a set capacity, your friend/family member will need to prebook their class to avoid disappointment – our classes fill up quickly!
